Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100 ICS Update for South Africa

Well it looks like we’ve finally got the Ice Cream Sandwich update for our Samsung Galaxy S2 phones in South Africa, well at least mine is busy downloading. Another blog post to follow:

Updated my Galaxy S2 yesterday through OTA updates

It looks so beautiful! and smooth and sexy! Can’t stop using my phone lol

Where is the ‘blog post to follow’?
Did you manage to update successfully? what are the changes? any bugs?

I have an S2 through an MTN contract although I use a Vodacom sim in it and I did receive a firmware upgrade over Kies and it kept saying “Error while downloading do you want to try again?”

Screenshots still don’t work? Maybe ICS has a different way of getting screenshots? Waiting eagerly for your comments…Thanks

Hells yes! Getting my S2 in the next week… getting ICS to go with it makes me even more excited to finally get the phone.

Nee – Mine has been downloading for a while and suddenly all trace of the firmware download is gone and I’m still on 2.3.4.
